Brands born in Saint-Tropez (with a scent of the South)

Saint-Tropez. A village that became a legend.
Some people stop there for a holiday.
And then there are those who create brands there.
Brands that, in their own way, capture a spark of summer, a little salt, a little light.
Here are some brands founded in Saint-Tropez.

Torpez – The legendary wine of the port

It's hard to talk about Saint-Tropez without mentioning Torpez, the village's historic winery.
Since 1908, it has been producing rosé, white and red wines with evocative names: Latitude 43, Bravade, Cuvée des Demoiselles…

Today, Torpez is much more than a wine: it's a landmark.
A domain at the foot of the vineyards, unexpected collaborations (notably with Bleu mon Jules), and a Tropezian way of life that is more drunk than described.

La Maison du Savon de Marseille – the Tropezian workshop

Yes, even though its name evokes Marseille, one of the brand's first workshops was set up in Saint-Tropez.
Here, artisanal soaps are made with respect for tradition, using natural ingredients and fragrances that smell of the South.

💡 Note: the Saint-Tropez shop offers local editions, with scents of umbrella pine, fig or lavender.

Vilebrequin – From shorts to legend

It's hard to imagine Saint-Tropez without Vilebrequin, the iconic men's swimwear brand.
Born in the 70s in the village, the brand has established its bold, colourful and refined style worldwide.

Even though it has grown, Vilebrequin remains viscerally attached to Saint-Tropez, where its historic boutiques can still be found.

Bleu mon Jules – The South on textile

Born in La Ponche, in the heart of Saint-Tropez, Bleu mon Jules is a clothing brand like no other.

Each t-shirt, each sweatshirt, each printed (or sometimes embroidered) piece tells a story of a place, a light, a scene of Tropezian or Mediterranean life. It's not fashion, it's a wardrobe of moments.

Conceived as a souvenir notebook, the brand creates an perpetual summer, between aperitifs at the bar, trips to the port and blue nights to the sound of Java.

And other Southern names that resonate…

  • Tafanelli: born in Corsica but often associated with Saint-Tropez and Ramatuelle through its summer collaborations

  • Café Sénéquier: not a textile brand, but a red icon that has almost become a visual “brand” of the port

  • La Boule Bleue: an emblematic Marseillaise brand, but very present in Saint-Tropez through pétanque events and lifestyle collaborations

Saint-Tropez: a breeding ground for sunny creations

We sometimes forget, behind the glitter: Saint-Tropez remains a village of artisans, creators, people who make things happen.

Every year, brands, projects, and ideas are born there.
Sometimes ephemeral. Sometimes iconic.
But always with this common denominator: the sun, the South, the desire to leave a mark.

What if the next brand born in Saint-Tropez was yours?
