Julia Dero, the one who brings color to our blue dreams

There are encounters that give shape to what we barely imagined.
Julia is a bit like that.
She draws what Bleu mon Jules feels, the wind, the sea, travel, summer memories.
And each stroke of her pencil tells better than words what it means to live blue.

When lines become stories

She's called Julia Dero, illustrator, graphic designer, dreamer, and probably a daughter of the sun.
Her world is made of light lines, simple colors, softness.
No frills.
Everything about her breathes the light of the South, the salt on the skin, the timeless days.

When we started working together, it was almost obvious.
Her drawings brought our Montgolfière pieces, the sweater and the t-shirt, to life, creations that invite you to travel, like a hot air balloon rising over the sea.
Since then, Julia has also designed several Bleu mon Jules posters, such as those for the Java Bleue or the Voiles de Saint-Tropez.
Each time, her style brings that touch of naive elegance that suits us so well.

Blue strokes, cotton dreams

With Julia, everything starts with a line.
A sketch, often freehand.
And in that line, everything is already there: the sea, the wind, the movement.
When you see her work, you get the impression she's drawing directly in the air.

Her creations are not just illustrations.
They are fragments of summer sewn onto cotton.
A T-shirt, a sweater, a poster, everything becomes a pretext to tell a blue story.

A common language: blue

At Bleu mon Jules, blue is more than a color: it's a state of mind.
That of the calm sea, the summer sky, freedom.
And Julia expresses it perfectly.

So, if you come across one of her drawings, on a poster or a shirt, take the time to look at it.
You'll see: there's always a bit of the Mediterranean wind in it.
